Artist Statement

My inspiration comes from Nature and from being a part of the natural world; just as the tree stands and sways in the breeze, so do I. Feeling the force of Nature, sometimes gentle, other times strong and powerful, I am aware of being alive and of being a part of something bigger and beyond.

Nature heals us, it tempts us, and sometimes, it destroys us. The challenge to capture the beauty and power of our unspoiled wilderness landscape and to explore the relationship between the human and natural world will be my lifelong journey.
